The Sturtevant Package

Every Sturtevant Firearm comes as a complete package: your firearm, a custom fitted case, cleaning rod and accoutrements, complete barrel break in process, 20 rounds of ammunition custom developed for your rifle (dangerous game calibers come with 20 rounds of solids and 20 rounds of soft points), load data for each custom ammunition, and custom dies if you are using a Sturtevant designed cartridge like our Thunderbolt, Cyclone or Earthquake Cartridge Lines.  We also will provide you with any common rifle accessories such as slings and bipods.  At the time of your order, if you desire, we can include a custom hunting knife and optical equipment like binoculars or a rangefinder and have these items fitted in your case as well.  If you have any equipment that you would like a custom compartment in you case for, please specify this when you order your Sturtevant firearm.  It is also impossible to forget that you have the Sturtevant Lifetime Warranty.

Almost all American gunsmiths that we know of ship your firearm to you, while we can do this we ask that if possible you pick up your rifle or shotgun at our facility.  We have several reasons for picking up your firearm, which will be of great benefit to you.  The day you pick up your firearm we will spend hours on the range with you to help you become familiar with your new treasure.  If you would like we can have up to 100 extra rounds of ammunition loaded, so that you can spend some quality time shooting with our professional staff.  We will have range reservations for the shooting discipline that you intend to shoot your firearm in.  If you are picking up a sporting rifle we will have a range with paper targets and animal silhouettes ready.  For the long range benchrest or tactical rifles, we will spend time at the 600 and 1,000 yard lines with you and for the extremely long range varmint rifles we have a 1,000 yard prairie dog town waiting and we can arrange for longer range shooting if we have sufficient notice.  If you are picking up a shotgun we can shoot a few rounds of trap, skeet, five stand, or sporting clays with you.  If you have any special range requests let us know and we can have things ready for you upon arrival.  During this range time we can assist you with any shooting, reloading, or firearm care concerns that you have.  This also allows you to ask questions of our staff when you are actually using your firearm.  You never really know what questions you will have until you have a new firearm in your hands.  When you pull the trigger those first few times we would like to be there to answer those unexpected queries.  So many times we hear stories about hunters that have purchased a new rifle and they failed to notice something that the builder included in a letter or a manual.  Yes, we include manuals with our rifles and shotguns, but we don't ever expect you to need to open them.  We are there personally to give you any instructions and advise that pertains to your individual firearm.

Since we include all of these things with your purchase it is literally possible to pick-up your firearm and test in on the range with our staff, then get on a plane to venture on an elephant hunt in Tanzania or a brown bear hunt in Alaska the very next day.  We do recommend that you spend more time shooting your new Sturtevant than just one day before a serious hunt. However with all of the time we spend preparing your firearm, you can have the confidence to know your are ready the day you leave the Sturtevant grounds.

With a Sturtevant you are not just buying a firearm, you have a lifelong partner in the shooting world.  We have everything you need included in your purchase.  We cover your rifle or shotgun against damage for life and we will transfer that warranty on to your children.  When you want the very best shooting experience possible, we can make your dreams come to life.
